We strongly condemned the Letter of Demand served by the attorney acting on behalf for Prime Minister Lee Hsien loong on prominent current affairs blogger Alex Au. In no way in Alex’s post at his blog dated 21 Dec 2012 deemed the Prime Minister as "corrupt" where he only persuade both Attorney General's Chambers and Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau to act within authority in virtue under the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore.
We hereby demand:
1. The Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau and Attorney General's Chambers to launch an immediate investigation on the tendering exercise of the Town Council Management System (TCMS) on July 2010 between the 14 People’s Action Party town councils and Action Information Management (AIM) Private Limited for any possible breach on articles within the Prevention of Corruption Act (Cap. 241) and Singapore Government Instruction Manuals (IMs)
2. Co-ordinating Chairman of the People’s Action Party town councils to explain why AIM was even allowed to take part and be awarded the tender where there is a clear conflict of interest?
3. Mr Khaw Boon Wan, Chairman of the People’s Action Party to release details of all People’s Action Party corporate entities dealing with public services.
4. Mr Chandra Das, Chairman of AIM Pte Ltd to disclose its corporate and financial capabilities to justify its management of the TCMS.
