At the end of the day "your" citizen is working 9hours a day, squeezing in the sardin pack SBS/MRT for 1.5 going 1.5hr coming back from work.(they dont give up seat to senior citizen and pretend to sleep because they are dead tired!) Spend 12hrs working for a pay. 3 hours to cook, laundry, ironing, wash dishes, mop the house! If a normal life you have 8 hours of sleep, you only left 1 hour for children! How can we have more children?
When pay day come, 40% of the husband and wife salary go to HDB for the next 30years just for 1000 sq ft HDB flat. Balance 60% have to distribute to CPF, electricity bill, water bill, phone bill, toilet flashing, garbage disposal, convency charges, carpark, ERP, petrol, income tax, old age parent, children enrichment class, insurance, medical fees.
In this world, Spore has the highest paid minister and lowest birth rate 1.1. What a shame!
Minister Please do your homework. If you cannot look after the life of Singaporean, please resign. Don't collect your million dollar salary. Let those who have passion, who love their country to be minister. Not those who love their million dollar pay.
Mr Lee you are not god, therefore you will bound to make mistake. Listen to your people. Please repent!
