Good analysis of Singapore by Taiwanese

By: decentguy1

If you can understand Mandarin/Hokkien, this is a very brilliant discussion about Singapore. Although I have no liking for the pan-Green faction, I agree with their comments totally.

Compared to Taiwan, Singapore's mainstream media is so stunted and worthless.

As a result, most Singaporeans are apathetic about political affairs.

Many thanks for this. You do Singaporeans a great favor: Singapore has entered a new stage, a new paradigm in its economic development, where the LACK of democracy will start to pull it backwards: E.g.:

    1. John Hopkins pulling out
    2. UNSW pulling out
    3. Warwick U refusing to come

All these failures can be traced to various lack of transparencies and lack of communication in the local culture - which results from the PAP government's own lack of respect for democracy.

Singaporeans must find the courage not to vote for them despite all the threats.
