Similarities Between Durai's NKF and the PAP Govt

From: thethorninmiw @ Sg Review

1. Both were Number One in Singapore.

2. Both gained huge support from the population of Singapore including the peasants and had huge ability to raise funds.

3. Both are highly wealthy organisations with huge reserves.

4. Both had Autocratic leadership that ruled with an iron hand without apology.

5. While preaching modern management and transparency, both practiced a veil of secrecy in terms of financial reporting of it's profitability where it was embarassing e.g. CEO's salary and benefits vis a vis PM & Cabinet's salary & benefits, e.g. distribution of income of NKF vis a vis clear accounting of obscene profitability of HDB; denial of too much funds by NKF vis a vis denial of obscene
profitability of HDB and more and more.

6. The leadership is always telling it's benefactors that times are tough and that they must work hard, practice austerity as if economic survival is constantly under sseige.

7. Nothing is for free. Most patients in NKF have to contribute and pay for partial subsidy. Most patients in PAP managed hospitals have to pay and pay too.

8. The leadership is not shy to pay itself well and grant itself glorified status and huge financial & other benefits all closely pegged to competitive market rates. There is shameless total neglect to follow globally acceptable practice of salaries of political office and charities.

Both types of situations are calling for service to mankind and the nation with supreme sacrifice. The Singapore NKF and PAP Ministers pay themselves as much if not doubly more than the Huge First World equivalents!

9. Both leaderships are quick to take legal action to silence critics where it matters.

10. Both leadership are known to LIE about the financial and economic situation to get more from their supporters. The NKF leadership lied about their reserves and the use of funds while the PAP Ministers continue to lie about the HDB and capabilities of Singaporeans to Singaporeans.
