If PAP went through a tendering process, then tell people about how the tender was carried out. Was it an open public tender or a closed tender? Who were invited to tender? Are all the invited tenderers PAP's own people? Why gave it to a company with only three guys and with a paid up capital of only $2. Is this what PAP used to do and was the same process also applied to other works? Did our Prime Minister who is also PAP's party secretary knew about the work being awarded to this company in the first place? With a company of only three guys, was this company trustworthy? What was the reason for selling the system to this company then have to lease it back from in between? Isn't this process inefficient and a waste of money? Besides, whose money was it, PAP or the consitutency? When was this company formed? Was it only formed just to make money out of this opportunity? Does the company has the expertise to manage the system. Why don't outsouce it to an IT company who would have the expertise to manage the system instead.
The govenment and PAP cannot just simply brush off this issue with simple answers. Our Prime Minister owed the people a detail explanation.
