  2. If anything the PAP regretted not doing was to be more receptive to voices at the ground level. By turning a deaf ear and trying to brush issues aside, they would be deemed to have failed in their moral duty to take care of the needs of Singaporeans. Time and time again, we hear of complaints being brought up and gets brushed aside. Issues about the lack of safety barriers of those MRT stations above ground, overcrowded buses and trains (PTC claimed that buses met target standards, CEO of SMRT saying that people can still board trains during peak hours). Complaints about foreign workers and students competing with Singaporeans for jobs and university place - all get brushed aside and explained away with statistics. Complaints about exorbitant health costs also got brushed aside and with the means testing, you may not even get to choose the ward class that you would like to, etc, etc. How not to be disappointed with the PAP??

  4. We need more people like Nicole in Parliament-she understands the problems of the nation and speaks well and her points are very relevant. She is a stellar speaker and no one can deny that. Kudos to her!

Thought GCT was a gentleman but the way he marginalised NSP and Nicole is an eye opener for me.
