Malaysian Press reported the Workers' Party rally story @ http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2006/5/2/focus/14119745&sec=focus

Why are such details not present in our local papers and televison?

A gentle reminder to all singaporeans who have the chance to vote, please vote wisely!

    Absolute power corrupts!

The future will be bleak if there is monopoly in the parliament!

It may be, albeit remotely, possible that the electorial boundaries are re-drawn to make 1 single Singapore GRC with 84 members!!!

We need to keep democracy alive by voting oppositions into the parliament!

A 1-party rule means freedom for the party to set more silly clauses in our Laws to further oppress the us!

Are you sure you want more unchecked price hikes?

Are you sure you want unchecked pay increment for the Ministers?

    Dear voters, please vote wisely!

    Why do we elect MP?
Are they to represent us and speak on our behalf?
Have they to take care of our needs?
Have they to be available and accountable to us when we need help?
I discover that it has not been the case in our country.
MP take care of themselves only!
Why are they elected there for their own interest only!
They are there in Parliament to taunt and mock at opposition members like Low Thia Kiang and Chiam See Tong whenever they brought up serious issues not to their liking!
Can we be proud or honoured to have such MP in our Parliament? Think , think and think!
We need only MP who seriously represent, serve and help their constituents by voicing the citizens' cries when they are hurt and troubled, resolve their problems in their life and create happiness for themselves and their own wards.
MP should find out whether their constituents "chyat phar bay" and "cheow khor ling bheng" and "bay sai wei kar ki, cheow khor kar ki"
Long live the citizen of Singapore!

one funny thing is that i dun get to see parliament live on TV. They used to broadcast right? Perhaps it's been too 1 sided. When no.1 says do someting, all will just "guay guay" nod their head and say, yes, yes!!! ;p
Or perhaps once we see this channel, we just switch away and watch other channels!!!! Cos all in white shirt , white pants!!! Perhaps white belts too.......no point liao..right???
