| You voted in a puppet. |
 |
| TOC deleted this message from facebook after being threatened, it read: "Rumours: Workers' Party supporters switched at the last minute to support Tan Cheng Bock because Low Thia Khiang had expressed privately that he does not like Tan Jee Say". |
So, we have another puppet in the Istana. This outcome can solely be blamed on The Workers Party for staying quiet in the background and support PAP values. So much for being a viable opposition party, yet they refuse to endorse a opposition cause. If WP can't get their acts together, only time will tell how many of these national issues will be addressed:
- Transparency in Reserves
- GST
- Tuitions fees
- ERP
- Healthcare Cost
- Public Housing Costs
- Transport Cost
- Immigration FT Policies
- PUB Cost
- Wages
- MRT
- COE
- Retail price

| The Wrong Party? |
wp has been keeping very quiet since ge2011.
ReplyDeletethere are issues affecting citizens, yet wp is acting deaf and aloof.
very disappointing.
A totally agree with 'guest'.Talk so big bit act so little. Very disappointing indeed.
ReplyDeleteWP should be more outspoken and stop acting like a coward or just sit there and do nothing
pls think
ReplyDeleteWP was right to stay quiet on this one. If they had endorsed one of the candidates, he would have lost the votes of the PAP supporters who did not want TT as president.
ReplyDeletethey are trying very hard. trust me. it is not easy to manage the GRC with the pappies playing punk with them. recent issues u guys should know. give them sometime. I'm sure there will be results. despite all these hardships they are facing, we must support them more fervently! we shouldn't be discouraged my friends! They are the ones that is going to check on the gahment for us! We must stay united. don't let the pappies little little action try sow discord among ourselves.
ReplyDeleteCould WP be the only allowed/appointed/endorsed/arranged/approved Opposition Party to be part of the acting cast lits in this whole political show?
ReplyDeleteTo those who are dissing WP, please take a walk down to their MPS and see how many people they have to attend to with their lack of manpower and facilities, and how long they have to stay till for every MPS. Couple that with certain entities playing punk and you'll see what kind of trouble they are facing.
ReplyDeleteAlso, to those who think they are not doing anything in Parliament, please do take a gander at any parliament videos of recent, if there are any at all to begin with.
Just sayin'.
I'd also stand up for any other party, be it SDP, NSP, SPP, etc. facing such circumstances if their efforts are shown, and even more if I can witness them first-hand.
I'm happy to be proven wrong.
