Singapore's Longest Protest Stand Off ever!

Listen to this article Listen to this article

Currently still going on the stand off between Dr CSJ & Siok Chin plus several (more than 5) protesters began around noon 16.Sept.2006 (LKy's birthday). Now it is 2036Hr,18.Sept.2006, the stand off between protesters and matas already lasted over 60 hrs, and still going strong.

I had spent at least 55hrs at the scene. And will still go back there tomorrow. I ask you all to go to Hong Lim Park, a rally will be held there, and I hold a permit for that. So it is perfectly LEEgal.

The cops can not turn you away, if they try so, ask them to officially declare the park closed to public, and post notice plus make announcements clearly stating reason, & time wef and until when the area is closed to public. Unless the area had been declared closed to public, then the public park remains accessable by any members of public.

They had been trying to do so on 16.Sept turning away people who want to enter the park. No officially announced but they selectively discourage and turn away people. The matas broke the law.

Because they have too much to cover up.

The IMF world media had exposed some, but I will expose more in days to come. :-)

In the shortest brief summary, they are as expected to be corrupted and incompetent lame bastards, cowards, kiasu, kiasi, dishonest, - to the extreme!

Pse take h/p video or voice recording of mata if they try to ask you not to enter Hong Lim Park tomorrow. Give me that video.

:-)

Thanks

You gus are damn brave. Personally I don't agree with your tacticis (I'm sure you've heard this before) mostly because whether we like to admit it or not, the current government has been cunning enough to equip itself with laws that very much protect its own interests and survival and of course, give them a personal bodyguard army with the SPF. A police force that seems to be more concerned with persecuting the citizens it's meant to protect rather than preventing crime itself.

The other day I saw some hooligans breaking into some mailboxes near my place. I did what a civic citizen is to do - I called the police. Guess what? They took more than 30mins to arrive even though the NPP was only like 3mins away. Of course the thieves were long gone by then.

But bravas anyway. I salute your spirit. Hopefully someday I too may shatter the chains that weigh me down and do something constructive like this.

Me too. I called the police reporting a car theft which I witness from my house. But the police patrol car arrived 15 minutes later after the car was driven away. This is how useless our police force is. They are paid with our money but spend their time carrying the balls of the big shots and patrolling around sixth avenue rather that serving us. Damn the civil servants. Nothing but dogs of PAP.

I went there at 7pm, 18/9. 5 polisi standing nearby CSJ turf. Those poodles looked tired, leaning against the fences along the road. I believed distant away, in 4 directions are dogs dressed in civilians' clothes.
The old chinese saying, Ho Kia Bo cho Peng, "good sons don't become police",..damned so true, those polisi are been use as tools, against their own people.

I have never respected Singapore Police because very often they have forgotten they are public servants but instead thinking that by being armed with a warrant card and revolver, they behave as if they are above the public. Also, several times I have seen cases where there are fights outside pubs but the police car just stayed at the roadside with the strobe lights on with the policeman inside (probably waiting for larger reinforcement). I had also witness a chase just below my block, the suspect was running away and about 30secs later i saw two police officers appeared and was running after him or should i say more like walk-a-jog, with occasional stop and chat. With such hesitating effort, i believe the suspect would have been long gone.
